This project has been a long time coming and a lot planning from everyone. It all started when we realized the Garage was in some serious need of repair. When we had a couple of estimates done on the roof and they said they wouldn't touch it till we got a carpenter in for the walls, we knew it was going to be quite a chore to fix. So I called up my favorite handyman (Rick ) to look at it and give me his opinion. Rick said "Bob, it really doesn't look that bad. We can knock this out on a weekend". And that's just what we did. But we could have never done it without the help of all my friends who came and pitched in and lent a helping hand. Rick (to whom I am in the red with now), Mike, Tom, Dad, Diane, and Mom for watching the kids while we did all of it !!!!!, oh yeah and Derek too. As you will see in these pages, we completely ripped apart the garage and re-constructed one side of the roof (rafters and all), replaced both overhead doors with 2 walls, a window and a steel entry door, and built a whole new side to replace the rotted one. It took a lot of work but luckily we had a good weekend for it and a lot of help. Thank you all for your help on this project, you have no idea how much you helped me or how much I appreciate it !!!!!
